How much does a car turntable cost in the UK?

Most UK suppliers do not publish prices; car turntables are usually quoted project by project. Three things move the figure most.

Whether it needs a pit. A recessed turntable sits flush with the floor, so the floor is excavated and a reinforced-concrete pit is built before the turntable goes in. That work is quoted separately by a contractor, and the showroom is out of use while it happens. For reference, US manufacturer Hovair lists car turntables from around $12,750, with pit construction as an additional local cost (hovair.com, checked October 2026).

Size and load. Diameter and capacity decide how much steel goes into the frame. A 5,000 kg rating leaves headroom for the heaviest SUVs and electric cars.

Delivery and installation. Some quotes are ex-works and leave transport and fitting to you.

VAT and paying for your turntable

The price is £9,750 + VAT. If your business is VAT-registered, the VAT can normally be reclaimed; check with your accountant. You order through a pro-forma and pay nothing until you approve it. We arrange shipping to your showroom and handle the customs paperwork.

How long from order to a turning car?

1. Send a photo of your floor. We reply with a placement plan showing where the turntable fits.
2. Approve the pro-forma.
3. We build it in Düzce in about 20 working days, in your colour and with your logo.
4. It is shipped to your showroom.
5. Our team installs it in about 2.5 hours, and it turns the same day.

Running and ownership costs

It plugs into a standard 13 A socket. Every wheel, motor, panel and remote can be replaced on its own, and spares come by courier.
